In 2014, 50 Cent scored a major hit by way of his critically-acclaimed series Power. The series, which highlights the life of a street king hoping to make it as a rap mogul, attracted millions of viewers and has already been renewed by the cable network Starz. But Fif has taken issue with the upcoming Fox series, Empire, which he accuses of ripping off the marketing strategy of his show. Empire, which stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, tells the story of a record label executive who finds out he has three months to live and must get his affairs in order with his company. “Power Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me,” the G-Unit boss wrote on social media. “ I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that They would copy the Marketing.”
